Panel Anchorbase

Flagship commission

Commission

Planning dashboard commission

A four-to-eight panel set that puts cash, profit, lock-up and partner drawings on sheets partners can read in one sitting.

Printed financial schedules and a calculator spread across a desk

Who it is for

Accounting practices and in-house advisory teams in the United Kingdom that already keep ledgers in Xero, Sage or IRIS and still arrive at partner meetings with a 40-page export nobody finishes.

What you leave with

A numbered set of planning panels — print-ready A3 and screen-ready PDF — covering the year-ahead cash view, budget versus actual, lock-up, and drawings. Partners should be able to name the three figures that matter before coffee is poured.

Scope

We map the source reports you already produce, agree the panel list, draw the boards, take two review rounds, and hand over files plus a walkthrough. We do not take over the bookkeeping or replace your accounts production software.

Included

  • A 90-minute briefing with the FD or managing partner and the person who actually pulls the reports
  • A source map listing which trial balance lines, aged lists and budget files feed each panel
  • Four to eight panels, drawn to a shared grid so they sit together as a pack
  • An annotation key in plain English for anyone who did not sit in the briefing
  • Two review rounds against live figures from the current month
  • Print-ready PDFs (A3) and a screen pack for the partner meeting
  • A 90-minute walkthrough once the final set is signed off

Not included

  • Bookkeeping, payroll, or VAT returns
  • Licences for accounts production or practice management software
  • Live automatic feeds that refresh without a person exporting a file
  • Investment advice or regulated financial promotions

Who draws it

Drawn by the Panel Anchorbase studio in Dallas, Moray, with review by a second pair of eyes before any pack leaves.

How the work proceeds

  1. Briefing. We sit with whoever owns the Monday meeting and whoever owns the exports. We list the decisions the pack must support this quarter — not every chart anyone has ever requested.
  2. Source map. We mark which report, which column, and which date each panel will use. If a figure does not exist in the ledger, it does not appear on a board.
  3. First boards. You receive a first drawing of the agreed panels, using last month’s actuals so the scale is honest.
  4. Review. Two rounds. Partners mark what they still cannot find in ten seconds. We recut labels, order, and emphasis — not the underlying numbers.
  5. Handover. Final files, annotation key, and a walkthrough timed to the next partner meeting or client planning session.

Time

Four to six weeks from a complete briefing pack. A single-panel rescue of an existing cash sheet can be shorter; a full eight-panel year pack is not.

Where the work happens

Remote across the UK by video. On-site briefing is available in Scotland and the north of England by arrangement. Printed A3 sets can be shipped to the practice.

What to prepare

Last 24 months of P&L and balance sheet, the current budget file, aged debtors and creditors, WIP if you record it, and the last two partner packs you actually used — even if they are messy.

Limits we will not blur

The figures remain yours. We will not invent a cash line to make a panel look complete. If lock-up is not measured, that panel waits until the practice can produce it.

Price basis

From £4,800 plus VAT for a four-panel set. Additional panels and on-site days are quoted after the briefing. A deposit of 40% is due on the engagement letter; the balance on handover.
