Refunds and cancellations

This page applies to commissions and sessions with Panel Anchorbase. We do not sell goods from a warehouse, subscriptions, or downloadable software licences. Refunds are about studio time, deposits, and dates.

Eligibility

A refund is considered when we have not started drawing, when we cancel a date we cannot cover, or when a session is called off in line with the notice below. A change of mind after first boards have been issued is not a full refund situation; unused later stages may be credited in part.

Timeframe

Ask for a refund or a cancellation in writing to hello@panel-anchorbase.click within fourteen days of the event you are writing about (for example, the date you received first boards, or the session date). We aim to confirm the outcome within ten working days of a complete request.

Deposits

The 40% deposit on a commission holds the start week and covers briefing and the source map. If you cancel before we have sent a source map, we refund the deposit minus £250 plus VAT for time already spent reading files. After the source map is sent, the deposit is not refundable because that map is usable work even if you stop.

Work already started

Once first boards have been delivered, fees for that stage are earned. If you stop the commission then, we invoice any balance for work done and refund any amount paid beyond that. We do not refund because a partner meeting disliked a figure that came from your ledger.

Partner briefing sessions

You may reschedule once, at no charge, if you give at least ten working days’ notice. Later changes, or a no-show on the day, forfeit the session fee. Travel already bought is billed at cost and is not refundable. If we cancel because of illness or travel failure, you may take a new date or a full refund of the session fee; unused travel is not billed.

Print and materials

If you have asked us to order a paper proof or a large-format print, that cost is passed through. Once the printer has started, that line is not refundable. Digital files we have already handed over are not “returned” for a refund; you must stop using them if the commission is unwound by agreement and a refund is paid for unused later stages.

Partial refunds

A partial refund may apply when a later review round or walkthrough is unused because you choose to stop, or when we agree the scope was described wrongly on our side. We set out the unused stages in writing before money moves.

How a refund is paid

Refunds go back to the same account or card that paid, within fourteen working days after we confirm the amount. We do not pay cash at the studio.
