Panel Anchorbase

Commission

Partner briefing session

A half-day in the practice, walking partners through the panels they already have — or the first boards of a commission — until each person can find cash, profit and drawings without asking the FD.

Small group around a table during a working session

Who it is for

Partnerships that commissioned panels (ours or another designer’s) and still watch the FD narrate every page.

What you leave with

Partners leave able to read the pack in silence for ten minutes and then ask a specific question, not ‘talk us through it’.

Scope

Half-day session, materials printed in advance, and a one-page reminder issued the same week.

Included

  • Preparation against the actual pack in use
  • Half-day facilitated session (up to eight partners)
  • One-page reminder of where each figure sits

Not included

  • Training in bookkeeping
  • Appraisal of individual partners’ drawings without the managing partner’s request

Who draws it

A Panel Anchorbase facilitator, usually the person who drew or reviewed the pack.

How the work proceeds

  1. Pack received. We mark the pages that cause the longest pauses.
  2. Session. Silent reading, then questions, then one recut if a label is genuinely wrong.
  3. Reminder. A single sheet, not a handbook.

Time

Half a day on site, plus a week of preparation.

Where the work happens

At the practice, or a hired room nearby. Travel from Dallas, Moray, is itemised.

What to prepare

Confirm attendance. Send the pack seven days before.

Limits we will not blur

We will not run the session as a sales pitch for further commissions.

Price basis

£1,450 plus VAT for the half-day, plus travel at cost from Dallas, IV36.

Next step

Propose two dates when most partners can sit for a morning.
